Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Kyiv was founded more than 1500 years old. Kyiv is located on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river. There are many streets and squares in the city. Khreschatyk is the main street in Kyiv. Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti) is the heart of Kyiv. Kyiv has a lot of museums, art galleries, concert halls, theatres and cinemas. The city is very green. The chestnut tree is the symbol of Kyiv. Kyiv is also famous for its attractive parks. Kyiv has well-developed transport system: an underground, a railway station, an airport, a river port. Many buses, minibuses, trolley-buses, trams and cars carry passengers around the city. Kyiv is a modern European city.

London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom.

London Eye is the big wheel. It’s 135 m high with 32 glass capsules. The wheel was opened in March 2000. Big Ben is the famous clock tower. The government meets  in the Houses of Parliament. One of the best things about London is its parks. In Regent’s park you can relax, walk and run, but you can’t cycle. Only the police can do that. Horses are good and  ecological way of keeping order in London. You can walk over the Millennium Bridge. You can also visit the British Museum. Changing of the guards takes place in Buckingham Palace every day at 11 am. You can walk along the Tower Bridge that joins two towers.

London is worth seeing!
